Right now, most likely in a Southern state in the US, a young lady is bending over and getting her bottom paddled with a heavy wooden board. The statistics from the department of education show, that on the average, 1944 documented paddling take place every day in the United States. This does not account for all of the paddlings that are administered by coaches, and often teachers that paddle a student in the hallway. From just the documented paddlings, this is an average of 1 paddling every 12 seconds on the average school day in the US. The ratio of male to females getting paddled vary nationwide, as some schools do not allow for the corporal punishment of females, but for the schools that do paddle both sexes, females account for close to 40% of the paddlings that take place. So with a paddling every 12 seconds, that is around 290 paddlings per hour. So if you are wondering if high school girls really get paddled, or if this is all fantasy, the statistics show that in the next 60 minutes, on this very day, 116 girls will bend over for their bottom to be paddled.
So what does a real high school corporal punishment paddling look like? I believe the school paddling video below is a very good representation of what really goes on when a high school girl is paddled at school. These three girls were all at trouble at some point during the day and chose a school paddling over a suspension. To speed the process up, and so they did not have to miss any more class than necessary, they were told to come back at the end of the day for their paddling. The girls all report at told and then wait a couple of minutes for the assistant principal to arrive. He reviews their disciplinary forms and then calls them into his office to be paddled. The entire process takes place with a female secretary present; to assure that school policy was followed during their paddling. The swats the girls receive are hard enough to indeed teach a lesson, but are not administered at a level in which someone could claim abuse. For 100’s of years, in 100’s of countries corporal punishment is used as a language, a language to help educate kids of all ages about the importance of doing their best and staying out of trouble. There are many languages spoken, but in the US the primary language used to teach in schools is that of the paddle. While each corporal punishment language used throughout the world has a slightly different effect, the paddle is indeed one of the most effective.

A well thought out and properly crafted paddle has a way of making a very real impression on the recipient. It is also a universal tool in that it is effective on both boys and girls, of any age. Paddles made from hard wood such as maple or oak tend to much more effective than the lighter woods and a thickness of ¾” is really ideal for making sure to get to the seat of the problem.

The paddle in the hand of someone who really knows how to use it allows them to communicate directly with the brain of a naughty young lady. There are clearly times that no amount of words, or written rules, will have the desired effect in changing a young lady’s behavior, so this very effective means of communication is required.
You can clearly see the communication between the paddle and her brain, a conversation her brain wants to end, but she has nine more licks to go.
The communication is quite simple. A female high school student is required to assume a position that makes it quite easy for the paddle to be used, and hopefully a position that will make the paddle swats more effective. The large and thick paddle is raised high into the air and applied forcefully to her little butt. The communication is received on her bottom and then a message is quickly sent to her brain, alerting her that she needs to stop this communication immediately.
Good use of position can help increase the overall communication. When she is grabbing her ankles, her bottom is pulled very tight, allowing the communication to be better received and longer lasting.
But this punishment has been earned and it is not optional, so as much as her brain is telling her that the communication between her bottom and the paddle needs to stop, she cannot make it stop. She does her best to hold still and get through the pain, but for this offense, more communication is required. Each time the paddle communicates with her bottom, her brain once again sends her a message that wants the communication to end. One nice benefit to the paddle is that each communication with her bottom is just a little more effective than the last, making this compound communication. When it comes to communicating with a teenage high school girl, the longer the conversation the better.

Another major benefit in using a paddle to communicate is that once the initial “conversation” is over, the communication continues. Depending on the effectiveness of the communication, she will continue to remember the conversation for hours to days. A really good paddling will allow her bottom to continue to send messages to her brain for several days, which should always be the goal, the more time in which her bottom is communicating with her brain the better. Why paddle her in a manner in which the bottom stops communication a few hours later, when every time she sits down at a desk, to eat, to use the bathroom, the conversation can continue?

The end result in this complex communication between a heavy wooden paddle and a teen girl’s brain is that the brain learns. The brain helps to reprogram her thoughts as to do whatever is required to avoid all further communication with the paddle. When those moments in life present themselves, and judgment is questioned, the brain has a way of reminding her bottom about the paddle and allows her to make the right decision.
He was not a sadist and he certainly did not find any joy or pleasure as a result of the paddlings he administered as part of his job as the assistant principal at a very large high school in the South. The truth was that it was simply his job to handle all the disciplinary referrals to his office and it was a job he took very seriously. His reputation with the students was that he did indeed enjoy paddling young lady’s bottoms and that he always paddled extremely hard. It was not a reputation that bothered him in the slightest as it was one that decreased the frequency of trips to his office.
It is pretty clear from the 1st swat that he is making an impression on her teen bottom. She will struggle to get through the rest of them.
The truth was, while he did not gain any pleasure from paddling the many butts to come through his office on any given week, it did not bother him to paddle a young lady’s bottom as hard as he could and reduce her into a crying little girl. He was actually happy to be able to provide this level of correction to a young lady that required it. He knew from his own strict upbringing and a good dose of saddle leather to his bare ass from his own father, that a good old fashioned whoopin could do a lot to deter bad behavior. So when a young lady found herself bent over his desk, or with her hands on the wall in the detention room, this is exactly what his goal was…not a punishment, but a deterrent against future behavior.

With the high school being quite large, covering grades 10th-12th, he ended up with many referrals over the course of any given week. He would see girls aged 15-19, of all shapes and sizes, and for a variety of offenses. He had basically two ways to deal with any given offense, a warning or a paddling. If a paddling was warranted, the young lady in trouble was in for quite an experience. All paddle swats were always given full force, the only difference between one paddling and the next was the amount of swats she would receive. There were no ornamental paddlings, if a young lady was required to present her bottom to him; his goal was always tears and a bruised bottom.
It will be literally impossible for her to sit down for a few days without thinking exactly what she did to get her teen bottom paddled in high school.
He had long ago learned to ignore the crying and the pleading of the young ladies as he tore their teen bottoms up. He honestly saw each and every paddling as a good opportunity for the young lady and was thankful that that had the chance of learning from him, rather than the more severe penalties that life could present them as they got older. Some saw his ways as overly severe as he paddles a 16 year old girl to tears for her fourth tardy to a single class for the semester, but he sees it as helping her set good habits when the consequences are only a sore bottom. He would rather help her get her act together while she is a teen girl than see her lose her dream job for always showing up late to work. The same holds true for young ladies sent to his office for fighting. Fighting at school is one thing, but when they are adults, a fight can lead to jail time or serious injury. When he paddles two young ladies for fighting, all he is thinking about is how to make it as painful and memorable as he possibly can. He knows from his own whoopins as a kid, that corporal punishment, when administered as effectively as it possible can be, has the potential to fully eliminate the undesirable behavior. His goal is to produce a stimulus to their little bottoms that they will never in their lifetime want to repeat. He knows it is not easy for them to endure, it is clear from their reactions to each swat that the pain is unbearable, and it is clear as they hobble out of his office that their butts will be bruised for days. They will not be sitting comfortably for quite some time and that is exactly the results he is looking for. He knows that after a paddling this intense, that the next time either of them is walking down the school halls, that if someone says something rude to them, they are more than likely going to just ignore it. This change in behavior will carry on throughout their lives and he will have made a very real difference. For every little school offense he is able to see the effect it can have on a young lady later in life.

He wants every student that walks across that stage at graduation to go on to be a success and if by bruising some bottoms he can increase their chances, then he will gladly be that guy. She is a straight A student, she has never once been in trouble in her high school career, but now she sits before him having helped someone basically commit a crime. He knows all too well that really smart people sometimes find themselves in really dumb situations in life and end up paying the price. One bad decision as an adult has the potential to ruin someone’s life. She might be the person who drove her boyfriend to the store in which he commits armed robbery, or work in the office where she overlooks her bosses creative accounting practices that she signs off on, either way, any of these decisions could send her to prison. So his goal is to teach her that a single bad decision is one that can indeed change her life, so he decides to put that into motion at this very minute. He is going to change her life by introducing her to a world of pain that she previously did not know existed.
It does not matter that this is her first trip to his office, he is going to put the large paddle to good use and send her home with a properly bruised and sore bottom.
Yes, she is a tiny girl. Yes she is the perfect student. Yes, this is her first time ever to be in trouble at school ever. His goal is to make sure it is the last time. He does not have a special paddle that he uses for the smaller girls, or the girls who never get in trouble, he uses the same large paddle that he uses on everyone. He sees this as the perfect opportunity to make sure she stays on the path for greatness she seems destined for. This is why he has the job that he has, to help make positive changes to the lives of the next generation. He does not see this is the time to go just a little easy when applying the paddling, he sees this is the time to give it everything that he has. He knows that when this paddling is over that she will never make such a decision again in her life. She tried it once when she was young and what she is about to feel will forever change her thought process. This is his chance and he will make a difference.

He does not just have her stand up and bend over his desk; he is going to make a production out of this one. He grabs his large and heavy paddle and tells her to come with him. He walks her through the main office, paddle in hand, in front of all of the other students and office aids, adding to her embarrassment and really making the situation feel even more real. She is not just going to be paddled; she is being marched to her fate. He takes her into the currently empty detention room and announces to her that she will be receiving the maximum amount of swats allowed by school policy…10. She is not just told to bend over, as he tells her in great detail what position she is to assume, and gently corrects her posture as she does so. It takes her considerable effort to comply with his demands of “place your hands on the wall…no lower. Walk your feet back…farther. Widen your stance…a little bit more”. He is not just going to allow her to passively be paddled, she is being made to own each and every part of this paddling. She is an active participant and she is helping him achieve his goal of providing a long lasting memory, beyond that of what her bottom will be feeling. When she is in place and presenting her bottom in a manner that allows for the perfect target for severe paddle swats, it does not just start, she is left to think about it for a minute.

When the paddling finally begins he knows what he has to do. He is not punishing her for letting another student copy off of her test, he is going to paddle her in a manner to make sure that she never does anything like that again in her life. He raises the paddle high into the air and swings with all of his might. His goal is to compress all of the skin on her bottom, making direct contact with the muscles below the surface as he knows that this is the place where learning really takes place. Immediately he gets the reaction he was looking for…instant tears and full on crying, just from one swat. This is how lessons are learned; this is the process for changing young minds and attitudes. The very best part as far as he sees it, is that he gets nine more swats to fully make his point.

There are many principals and administrators, ones that are in charge of administering corporal punishment, that do their best to make sure that students do not miss any more class time than needed. For many students, this means that once they are told they are to be paddled, that they will have to wait until the end of the day before they receive their punishment. Instead of the administrator having to find a same sex witness and to go through the entire process over and over again throughout the day, he just has every student return after the last period. He can then have both a male and female witness ready and the students who need their butts paddled, just line up outside of his door and wait their turn. This really streamlines the process and prevents each student from missing more class than is needed. Here is the sound of this very thing taking place. He is able to get through the process in just under 45 seconds for each girl. The after effects of her corporal punishment make it clear that this was a very real paddling.
Step one- A high school aged girl, typically 15 to 18 years of age finds herself in trouble, in a school that utilizes corporal punishment, and is sent to the office. The vice principal looks over her offense and decides that she needs to be paddled. She is informed how many swats she will get and is instructed to stand up and to bend over. He makes her assume a stance that is stable and that will allow for the hard application of the swats to her teen bottom. He grabs a paddle that is large enough to cover her entire bottom and thick enough to assure that this paddling will do more than just sting.

There is no arguing on her part, as she has no choice at all in the matter. Her parents has previously signed a corporal punishment authorization form, so regardless of her age, she has no choice but to accept the paddling. He does not need to force her into position, and she presents her tight little teen bottom in a manner that is ideal for the application of pain to her bottom. He reminds her to remain in position throughout her paddling or she will receive extra swats with the heavy paddle.

She feels the heavy wooden paddle touch her bottom for a brief moment, and then sees it being raised high into the air. Regardless of her age, size, or gender, the paddle is brought down full force onto her bottom. The paddle compresses the outer part of her bottom and digs deep into the muscles of her butt. The force of the paddle pushes her whole body forward and she tried her best to maintain the position. The pain of the 1st swat is overwhelming and her eyes begin to immediately fill with tears.

Before she is able to recover at all from the first swat, the paddle is raised into the air again. She knows there is no way she can take another swat and she clinchers her fist in preparation for the severe pain. This process continues until all of the prescribed swats have been applied to her tiny bottom. He does not stop paddling her as a result of her crying. He does not begin to paddle her more gently as a result of her whole body trembling. He makes sure that when all is said and done that her bottom is properly bruised and sore, knowing that in a couple of hours that the real lesson will begin for her.
Her bottom will continue to swell and will grow sorer over the next couple of hours. Sitting will become a very real issue for her.

When it comes to a proper school paddling for a high school girl there are many essential elements that are required to make it an effective punishment. In the past I have covered most of these in great detail, which include:
- Anticipation leading up to the actual paddling, creating much fear and worry and she contemplates how much the paddling will hurt.
- Being required to be an active participant in her punishment by actively cooperating in the process.
- A sense of embarrassment, as a result of the position she is made to assume as well as a public element in which others are able to hear her paddling, or to see her directly after.
- Being made to wait for her paddling while in position, for an extra element of anticipation.
- Words or actions that make her feel like a little girl, even though she thinks that she is a grown woman.
- Providing her with a very painful paddling, one that brings as much sting to her bottom as possible.
- Assuring that the paddling leaves her bottom bruised and sore for many days, so the punishment continues will after the paddling is over.
Today’s focus covers what is probably the most important, or second most important (behind a bruised bottom) element of a proper paddling of a high school girl, and that is crying and tears.
The tears begin to roll down her face which is a very good start.
Tears are so very important when it comes to a teenage girl being paddled at school for several reasons. The 1st and most obvious is the fact that if she does not produce a single tear during her paddling, then she was clearly not paddled hard enough. If she is able to just grit her teeth and get through the whole thing with dry eyes, the amount of pain being applied to her bottom was nowhere close to what was needed. A paddling without an unbearable amount of pain does little to serve as a deterrent from future misbehavior. This simply leads to a girl who endured a sting to her butt, but later tells her friends “it was not that bad”. This is never the result any administrator of a high school wants after a young lady has been paddled.
Simply wiping away the tears after her paddling is not quite enough, She needs to be actively crying when her bottom is finished being paddled.
Tears are also very important because many girls will do their best, under all circumstances, to make sure that she does not cry from her paddling. She sees it as a victory to the person who is paddling her if he gets to see her cry. This in itself is an act of defiance and she is being paddled for her own good and as a result of her actions. This is not a young lady submitting to her punishment, this is a young lady that even as she is being punished is acting in a willful manner. Making sure that the paddle hits her bottom with enough force, and enough times to produce tears, will help remove the willfulness and better suit her overall development.
While a school paddling takes place in a more structured environment than corporal punishment in the home, it should not be lost that this is still a girl being spanked. What proper spanking of a girl by her mom or dad does not involve tears? One of the purposes of her getting spanked at school is to demonstrate that there are still rules that she needs to follow and that there are consequences for not following those rules. It helps to remind her that even at the age of 17 or 18, she does not have all of the answers and is not fully prepared to go into the world without guidance. By paddling her teen butt until the tears are flowing, she is reminded that she is indeed still just a girl. She was bad and bad girls get spanked until they are crying.
A few seconds after the last swat hits her teen bottom we see the desired effects. She is not just wiping away tears, this young lady is crying like a little girl who just got the spanking of her life.
While tears are a requirement for any effective paddling, they alone are not enough. Having her bottom paddled and her eyes simply filling up with tears, does indeed demonstrate that it hurt her bottom, but it is not the same thing as her actually crying. A teen girl, who is paddled and is simply able to wipe away her tears when it is all over, still leaves with a bit of her dignity intact. The overall experience should not be one in which she was proud of her behavior, or felt good about how well she took it. If she was paddled until she was crying like a little girl, she will feel embarrassment, regret, and hopefully a degree of shame that her behavior led to her being spanked at school in the first place.
We have looked at the progression of pain to a girl’s bottom, as she is paddled, in the past, but I have never really evaluated the progression of tears and emotion that a girl expresses during a hard school paddling. Let’s take a look a look at the expressions and emotions on a young lady’s face as she receives a hard school paddling.
The 1st hard swat wakes up her emotions as she struggles with the intense pain to her teen butt.
In the above picture, she is clearly quite nervous as she waits for the 1st swat. It may be the first time she was ever paddled at school, or maybe she has been paddled before and she knows how bad it is going to be. She feels the paddle leave her bottom, as it is raised into the air, she then squints her eyes, furrows her brow, grits her teeth, and purses her lips. As the 1st swat hits her bottom her mouth opens and she gasps, her breathing quickly increases, and her eyes begin to blink, showing that the swat had the desired effect and the eyes are already beginning to react with moisture.
The tears begin to form and her body language shows that full on crying is coming soon.
After a couple more swats, the desired reaction is becoming much more apparent. Her eyes are no longer just wet as tears are actively beginning to roll down her cheeks. The heaving of her chest has begun as tears turn into actual crying, a clear sign that her bottom is really starting to feel the pain that she requires. Her breathing has become quick and shallow as she starts to remember what the purpose of a spanking really is.
There is no more fighting it, she is crying like a little girl from her school spanking.
Now that she is fully crying, her paddling is not over and the real learning begins. With her bottom so sore that she is crying like a little girl, she is given another severe swat. This one causes her to fully break down and let it all out. There is no more sucking it up and putting on a brave face. There is no more willfulness in which she will not let the female VP paddling her get the best of her. All that is left now is pain and the raw emotion of a little girl getting a spanking. She is no longer trying to act like an adult, or to try an put forth an image of toughness, she is simply blubbering as a result of her teen bottom getting paddled, something that is well deserved and long overdue.

With the completion of her paddling, her face shows the results of a well punished little girl. Tears are running all the way down her face and dripping off of her chin. Her nose is running and her makeup is a mess. At this point there is absolutely no doubt that this young lady learned her lesson. She is not going to be able to stand up and look at the VP with a tough look like this was no big deal, as her face tells a much different story. She is not going to pretend that it was easy to endure and that she could do it again. There also no way she is going to walk into the main office, with all eyes on her, and act like she took it like a big girl. Everyone will see the face and the eyes of a little girl who just had her bottom spanked, and there is nothing she can do to try and hide that.

While most public schools within the United Stated, that allow corporal punishment, are governed by the rules set forth by the district school board, the same does not hold true for a private school. This is even to the point that in states in which corporal punishment is not allowed, private institutions may still use it. With the majority of private school having a strong Christian influence, school paddling is more often the norm as a means to administer discipline. They will typically have a written corporal punishment policy, but it is created without any influence from a governing board outside the walls of their schools. With the majority of private schools either being religious based, or a school for a somewhat troubled teen, the paddle is not only alive and well in these schools, it is used liberally.
Let’s take a quick peek at the policies of a couple of private schools. The first one is a school in which students who have found themselves in a lot of trouble in the public school, are sent by their parents:

A maximum of five (5) consecutive correctly received swats upon the buttocks may be administered. Correctly received swats are those in which the student exhibits a submissive attitude, as determined by the administrator of the corporal discipline. This submissive attitude must be exhibited throughout the discipline session. A maximum of fifteen (15) swats of any kind, whether correctly received or incorrectly received, may be administered in a twenty-four hour period. The Superintendent or any other adult staff member (who is of the same gender as your child) that the Superintendent shall designate will administer the corporal discipline. A flat paddle is used to administer the corporal discipline. The student will remain clothed for the entire procedure. Each incident of corporal discipline will be duly witnessed by another adult staff member (of the same gender).

I understand that if at any time my child refuses to accept their punishment, or if I refuse to administer their punishment; my child will be expelled from LBA. If a student requires a spanking, the parent must complete it the next school day. The office will explain why a spanking is necessary and must be completed by the parent in the Principal’s Office. The student will not be allowed to attend class the following day until it has been issued.

This is indeed a very unique situation as we now have a school taking full control over how a student will be paddled and the parents now have to do it as the school is required. It is very clear, if the student will not submit to a paddling, or the parents refuse to administer it, the student is expelled from the school. It clearly states that the swats have to be administered “to the satisfaction of the designee”, which can only mean that if you do not paddle your daughter hard enough, you will have to do it again.

This policy really has a way of modifying a policy of 5 maximum swats, and basically assures that the school gets to make sure that the paddling a student receives is a very memorable one. Picture the young lady at this very strict religious school, sent to the office for a basic infraction. Being that just about every offense I looked at in the student handbook will result in a paddling, this means that any trip to the office means she will be paddled. She is given a corporal punishment form and told to take it home. The next morning, she arrives at school with mom or dad, and waits nervously with her parent, as the school finds a designee to oversee her paddling. The three of them go into the room where paddlings take place, and under the direction of the school designee, she is put into position and her parent is handed a heavy wooden school paddle. The parent is then told how many swats to give their child, and she is reminded that she has to remain in position, and fully accept everything that she is about to receive. Her mom then takes the paddle in her hand and applies the 1st swat to her daughter’s bottom. It is at this point that the school official gets to make the decision as to whether she accepted the swat properly. If she moved, made too much noise, stood up, or even “wiggled”, the school official can inform the parent and the student that the swat did not count. Picture the young lady who is still spanked severely by her dad at home, and he always has to hold her in place during her punishment. This is a whole new world for her, having to not only fully submit to her punishment, but to cooperate. Being smacked hard on the bottom hurts a lot, especially for a teenage girl, and it is quite hard not to make much sound during a proper paddling. But this paddling, at this school, will not end until she learns to do exactly that. The five swat paddling she had coming, might have turned into a ten, or even twenty swat paddling, until she learns to properly submit.

But when it was completed, the school official has the power to tell the parent that the paddling was nowhere near hard enough. Remember, this is a very religious school, which believes very strongly in “Biblical discipline”, which rarely involves an ornamental paddling. These are the types of schools that believe that a proper spanking involves breaking the will of the child. So after her eight swats, three of which she struggled with and was unable to properly submit, she hears the school designee tell her mom that the paddling was nowhere near hard enough and that it has to be repeated. At this point the entire process starts all over again, and with the swats being much harder this time around, there is a good chance that she will struggle with most of them, thus requiring them to be repeated. This is a very unique situation, but in reality, most paddlings in private school are administered by a principal, administrator, or a teacher. The primary differences in paddlings administered in the public school and private school tend to be frequency and severity. These differences exist mostly because of parental support for corporal punishment. Parents that seek out a private Christian school, deeply rooted in the teachings of the Bible, typically do not oppose the use of corporal punishment. In fact, most of them frequently use corporal punishment in the raising of their daughters, in their own home. They actively seek out an educational environment that is a good extension as to their personal beliefs. There is an expectation that if their child misbehaves at school, that they will be punished as set forth in the Bible. This really frees up a school from all of the concerns of lawsuits and protests from parents about a girl being paddled. It also allows a school to paddle in a way that is much more effective in changing behavior.
In a public school setting, a teen girl, after getting paddled at school, might come home and show her mom her bruised butt, complaining that she was paddled at school and that it was far too hard. Her mom then gets on the phone, calls the press, calls the school, and begins the kind of uproar that we see regularly on the news. This is not the case when it comes to a paddling administered at a private Christian school. Strict Christian parents see a bruised bottom from getting in trouble at school, as a good starting place for a session with dad’s belt. They see it as an opportunity for some real learning to take place and are more than willing to make sure that her bottom feels much more in the way of discipline.

This means that after a student has had a few detentions, and maybe some ISS, that eventually her bottom might be paddled. But in a private school, a young lady’s first trip to the office, and every trip after that, will result in her bottom being paddled. They tend to take the opposite approach in that after she was paddled once, on her second offense she is paddled again, and also receives detention. The one common thread is that if she gets in any trouble, big or small, her bottom will pay the price.
Think of the first school policy that I mentioned above, in which a student cannot receive more than 5 licks at a time, with a maximum of 15 in a 24 hour period. This means that at some point in time, those in charge of the school’s policy, needed to come up with a policy that allowed a student to be paddled as many as 3 times a day. This school is a school in which the students live there full-time, which allows flexibility for paddlings outside of classroom hours. In a public school setting a girl who misbehaves frequently, might find herself paddled a few times over a typical school year. But it is clear from this school’s policies, that she might find herself paddled every day, if not more often than that. They clearly believe that a bruised bottom is an effective learning tool and they do not hesitate to provide it as often as is needed. Just take a look at the very 1st line of the contract that the parent must sign when enrolling their student at this institution:
I/We understand that the structure and rules under which my/our child will be educated and trained are very strict.

Simply the inclusion of the word “trained” makes it clear that some butts are going to end up very sore and the methods they use are not just strict, they are “very strict”. But for additional perspective, let’s take quick look at the “demerits” system. Having gone through their complete student and parent handbooks, it is quite clear that just about every offense that results in a “demerit” will result in a five swat paddling. Below is the policy for a student that had 10 demerits in a week. This is a list of the additional punishment a student will face after a week consisting of 10 demerits, which results in them being placed “on discipline” for the next week. It is clearly common enough that there is an entire policy of additional punishment that will last for an entire week. But what we really need to consider, is that to have been placed “on discipline” that means 10 demerits. Being that a single demerit results in a five swat paddling, this means every student who is “on discipline” typically received at least 50 paddle swats the week before. That is also assuming that the 50+ swats they were administered were “correctly received”. The 5 swat paddling could have easily resulted in as many as 15 if she did not submit properly to her paddling. And if you think that corner time is something for toddlers, or only exists in British spanking videos, think again. Look at the fourth option for a young lady who is “on discipline” for the week. She is to stand in her dorm room, with her nose touching the bed for a period of one hour. What is even more interesting is that there is a 10 minute “sit down break each hour”. This would lead me to believe that corner time can last well beyond the initial hour, if there are hourly breaks. I am also guessing that a girl “on discipline” and in corner time for a few hours, that does not maintain her position, will probably be getting her bottom paddled as well. They are also clear in stating that when a student is “on discipline” that all of the things stated below, “will be included”, not “may be included”.
If the student has more than ten (10) demerits in a week then she is placed on discipline for the following week. This discipline will include:
- Loss of desserts and seconds during meals
- Loss of all extra-curricular activities including but not limited to field trips, basketball, volleyball, tennis racquetball, baseball, Ping-Pong, pool, foosball, and swimming.
- Various forms of physical training which include but are not limited to the following: jumping jacks, push-ups, sit-ups, squats, hops, leg lifts, crawls, running, carrying cinder blocks, or all of the above.
- Standing with your child’s nose touching the end of your child’s bed for a time period of 1 hour with a 10-minute sit-down break each hour. This is excluding any regularly scheduled activities and school time.
- An altered menu of bland foods will be issued at the discretion of the staff in conjunction with the above referenced discipline measures.

Almost all schools define the dimensions of the paddle to be used to correct a young lady’s behavior. Gone are the days of 1” thick paddles that can get the job done in as little as three swats. Most districts are very clear on what type of paddle that can be used. Here is an example from the 2013 school policies from a 9th-12th grade high school in Alabama:
“A wooden paddle approximately 24 inches in length, 3 inches wide and ½ inch thick is recommended. Paddles with holes, cracks, splinters, tape or other foreign material shall not be used for corporal punishment”. The student shall remove any objects in back pockets and/or remove outer garments before the punishment is administered. A teacher who is “not comfortable administering corporal punishment” may ask another teacher to do it. The witness should preferably be of the same sex as the student. Parents shall be given the right to exempt their children, but “should the parent fail to notify the principal, it shall be understood that the student may be corporally punished”.
A 24” paddle in indeed an effective length, but ½” thick is just barely enough to get the job done. Just as with the dimensions of the paddle, the maximum number of “licks” that can be administered are generally quite specific. While some schools are still quite liberal with this number, such as another school policy from Alabama:
“A first office referral means 60 minutes’ detention or “six swats with a paddle”; a second referral, 80 minutes or eight swats; a third, 100 minutes or 10 swats.”
This is a pretty good policy and certainly enough to get the job done. I would guess that they do not see as many referrals to the office as many other schools, as a young lady contemplating that her very 1st referral to the school office will result in six swats to her bottom, might indeed have an effect on her behavior. But this is not a typical school paddling policy, as most schools have 3-5 as the maximum number of swats allowed. This leaves a school administrator a little limited in what they are able to accomplish when paddling a young lady’s bottom. A good school administrator, the one tasked with the issue of handling school discipline, often has to be a little more creative when it comes to the application of corporal punishment. While the end result will always be physical pain applied to a teen girl’s bottom, there are many things that they can do to supplement the actual paddling. Let’s explore some of the ways to make the overall paddling experience more effective.
Clearly, every school paddling will indeed end in the same way, with a girl’s bottom being paddled, but the path that is taken to get there can really add to the effectiveness of the punishment. From the moment she is sent from class, and walking down the hall with a pink slip in her hand, her thoughts are focused on, “will I get paddled for this”? This is what makes a school paddling so effective; girls do not want to have their bottoms smacked with a big wooden board. If they grew up in the South, where most school paddlings take place, chances are she was spanked as a kid. To simply tell her that her offenses require him to paddle her, and then to have her stand up and bend over, is doing her a disservice. As he is weighing the options, it is very effective for him to pick up the paddle and hold it. I do not think it is out of line for the principal to reference how effective and painful a paddling really can be. Comments like “we probably could handle this with detention, but my experience has shown that you would be less likely to return to my office after you have shed a few tears”, or “there is nothing like a very sore bottom, for a few days, to serve as a deterrent to prevent you from returning to my office” tend to be very effective. She is now faced with the reality that this paddling will not only hurt, but that she will cry, and that her butt will be sore for days. If the increased heart rate and shaking hands had not started up to this point, they most certainly would now. This also helps prevent her from shrugging the whole thing off, and trying to convince herself that it will not be that bad.
When he finally announces his decision to her, that she will indeed be paddled, he needs to really play it up. It cannot come across as a casual event, but one that he has given great thought to, and as much pain as he knows he will be providing her, that it is probably the best thing for her overall development. Creative administrators are able to make all of the moments leading up to the paddling, as bad as the event itself. Informing her that he is allowed to give as many as six swats for any given offense, and that he feels that would be best for this situation, really lets the whole thing sink in. She is not only going to be paddled, she is going to get the worst case scenario paddling, and if this is explained in the right way, at for some girls, the tears may begin here. A paddling, in which she is crying minutes before it even starts, is highly effective. Once again, she will not just look back and reflect on the pain she experienced, but all of the emotions she felt building up to the actual event.

chances of future transgressions, so the buildup to the paddling should not end here. Many principals would paddle her bottom right there on the spot, but it is more effective for there to be a gap before she is punished. There are some principals that administer all of their paddlings at the end of the day, or even the end of the week. This allows for hours, or sometimes days, or dread and apprehension. She gets to fully process that she will cry, she will be sore, and that she will be getting the maximum number of swats for quite some time. At the very least, he should send her out of his office, to sit in the main office, until he can find the time to take care of her bottom. She then gets to sit in the chairs, watching the rest of the students and office staff going about their daily business. Only she knows that she is sitting there waiting to be spanked with a paddle at school. She is able to think about that giant paddle, think about the last time she was spanked and how that felt, and to fully consider how she will react to her paddling. Thoughts of how hard he swings, what position she will be made to assume, and how will she survive it will consume her. The paddle has not even touched her bottom yet, and she is making promises to herself to never again, make a decision that puts her in this situation.

Another very effective approach, especially when someone is called back later in the day to be paddled, is that of actually having to hear the process take place. For the principals that bring every student to be paddled back at the same time, it becomes quite a challenge for those that have to listen. It allows everything in their mind, and the anticipation of this event, to become reality. While many schools have a policy that a student cannot be paddled in the visual presence of another student, this does not mean that other students are not allowed to hear a paddling take place. Many principals leave their door cracked, so it is clear to anyone present in the main office what is taking place on the other side of the door. It serves as a very real deterrent to other students, even those not in trouble, what happens if they find themselves in trouble. But for the young lady, who has been waiting all day, or all week to be paddled, and dreading every second of it, actually hearing it take place brings it all home. If you have ever been paddled in school, or have heard one take place, there is nothing quiet about it. Most principal’s offices are small and often made with cinderblock walls. There is not a lot of soft furniture, or curtains, or anything else that absorbs sounds. The hard crack of a paddle on a student’s bottom has a way of amplifying in that tiny office and echoing throughout the entire front office. It is not a distant and muffled sound; it sounds more like a gunshot. Even a moderate paddling has a tendency to sound like the end of the world to a teen girl waiting for her turn. With a cracked door, the sound is further carried, and as she hears each swat, she knows that her turn is coming.

overall process, is the sound she hears after the echo of the paddle swat. Sure, guys will do their best to suck it up during a paddling, but girls are usually not quite as successful. If the principal is doing his job well, there will be a vocal reaction after each paddle swat, from every girl paddled. The girl in the chair hears the lick land, then hears the girl being paddled, gently cry out…at first. When that second swat lands, she now hears more of a muffled scream, as she deals with the very real pain of the paddling. If the principal is really doing a good and proper job of paddling, after the third swat, the girl waiting her turn will hear crying from inside the office. When it is all over, she can’t help but watch the girl who was just paddled, leave the office, with her makeup a mess, her eyes red and swollen, still wiping the tears from her eyes. Everything that she has tried to convince herself, about how the paddling will not be so bad, has all gone out the window. She now knows it will be the worst case scenario, she knows that he was not kidding about the tears, and she has no doubt from what she just heard that her butt will indeed be bruised and sore. The anticipation of being paddled is a very effective step and one that should not be ignored.
A proper and effective school paddling should not just be painful, but it should be embarrassing. At all times the girl should be treated with respect and at no point should she feel humiliated during any part of the process. But let’s face it, a high school girl will do just about anything to keep from being embarrassed and will go well out of her way to make sure she is never in that situation. So if being embarrassed is something that she will go to great lengths to avoid, then it should most certainly be part of the punishment. There are many ways that school administrators can accomplish this task. One of the simplest ways this is accomplished is through the verbal exchange prior to her paddling. When she is finally called into the office for her paddling, there can be an element in which she is made to feel like a young girl. After all, she is in trouble at school, and she is going to get a spanking for it, so why not remind her of that fact. Even better, remind her of that fact while she is still waiting in the lobby to be paddled. Embarrassment comes very quickly if he opens the door to his office, and in front of everyone present, he announces to her that “it is time for your spanking”. By calling it a spanking, and not a paddling, she is once again, taken back to that place in her childhood when mommy would give her a spanking. Every eye in the office goes right to her, as she turns 10 shades of red, and stands up and walks to his office. This is no longer the private paddling that she has been dreading, this is now a very public “spanking” in which every student that was in the office now knows about. The word of a girl getting paddled at school tends to travel fast, and before the end of the day, everyone will know it was her bottom that was spanked.

Adding embarrassment to the whole situation can also be accomplished by positioning and timing. When she walks into his office and he says “OK, let’s get your bottom spanked”, he then tells her what position to assume. Making it as easy as having her bend over his desk, does not serve the purpose well. Why give her a somewhat comfortable and stable position to be paddled in, when he can take the steps to make her feel uncomfortable and embarrassed? The very best position is clearly to have her grab her ankles. This makes her feel exposed and very vulnerable, and at the very least is not comfortable at all. This puts her bottom on display like no other position there is, and she becomes even more aware of what part of her body is about to feel the discipline. It is also very embarrassing, as she is now a grown woman, but her actions have led her to a situation in which a man can order her to bend over and to stick her bottom up into the air. There is no other situation in her life, where someone else has this type of control over her body, and as she is there grabbing her ankles, she is most definitely embarrassed that it is taking place.

this can also be revisited just prior to her actual paddling. Now that she is in the middle of his office, grabbing her ankles, bottom properly presented for a hard paddling, as much as she does not want to be paddled, at this point she just wants to get it all over with. The position itself is uncomfortable, her bottom is very much on display, and she just wants it to be over. This is the perfect time for the principal to fill out the paperwork that most schools require whenever corporal punishment is administered. This gives her a final few minutes to consider everything she has done and all of the events leading up to this moment. You can ask anyone who was spanked at home or in school, what was the worst part of their punishment, with the exception of the pain, and just about every one of them will tell you it was the last few moments waiting for it to begin. Everyone, when they know there is no escaping a spanking, just want to get it over with as soon as possible. But the high school girl with her ass up in the air, waiting for her paddling, should not be allowed this luxury, and the more time she spends grabbing her ankles and waiting, the more effective the overall experience will be for her.
Once a sufficient amount of time has passed, and it is time for her bottom to be paddled, a few nicely worded sentences can help to really bring the point home. It is very effective to remind her how much it is going to hurt. Instead of him just walking up to her and starting to paddle her bottom, imagine how much more effective the following would be:
Informing her how bad the paddling will be is very effective.
“It is very important that you remain in position for the duration of your paddling. The only way this paddling will produce the desired results, is if I paddle your bottom as hard as I possibly can. We want to provide as much pain as possible to your bottom, but we need to limit it to that part of your body. If you start moving around, I may end up hitting you somewhere else, and that can be dangerous. With you grabbing your ankles, it is important you keep your hands on your ankles, as that helps with stability. I am quite sure that you will be crying from the very beginning, but please keep your hands on your ankles until the paddling is over, you can wipe your tears when we are done.”
For the young lady who just spent the last three minutes convincing herself that it would not be that bad, those thoughts are instantly shattered. He has made it clear that this will not be gentle, that it will hurt like hell, and that he knows for a fact that she will indeed cry. Now everything has come together, and all that is left is for her bottom to be paddled.
While everything that has led up to this moment, over the last several minutes, hours, or days, can indeed make the overall paddling experience effective, the biggest factor on whether a paddling will be an effective deterrent is how much it hurts. A principal can utilize anticipation, embarrassment, and many other elements all day long, but if it is not followed up with a truly memorable and painful paddling, then all is lost. It is also very important that the pain from the paddling does not end after the paddling. This is also where paddle selection, and more importantly, paddle thickness really comes into play. A ¼” thick paddle, when applied over jeans, does have the ability to hurt. But that pain is going to come in the form of sting, and six good swats with a thin paddle can produce a lot of sting. The downside is that an hour after the paddling, the sting is gone, and the punishment ends right there. What is the point of putting so much time and effort into providing her with an experience that she will never forget, and never want repeated, if the paddling itself was simply one minute of pain to her bottom? Teen girls are pretty good at wiping things from their minds when it is behind them, so the paddling needs to be something that she cannot just ignore when it is over.
A principal, who is good at his job, will take all of this into account, and do his best to make sure that when the paddling is over that the punishment is just getting started. This is best accomplished by using the thickest and heaviest paddle that the district will allow and by applying each and every lick with maximum effort. Each paddle swat, from the very first to the very last, needs to be applied just as hard. There is no reason for there to be some sort of warm-up, beginning with a few swats that are not as hard as the rest. There is also no reason to do what many principals do and make the last swat harder than the rest. The goal is a very sore bottom, and with a limited amount of swats to get her to that point, full force throughout is necessary and also best for her development. Also, a severe paddling tends to numb a girl’s bottom pretty quickly, so the first few swats are the ones she is really going to feel. The goal is long term soreness, but care should be taken that while the paddling is taking place that it hurts as much as possible. For safety reasons, and to provide as much long term soreness as possible, all of the swats are applied to the exact same spot on her bottom. This keeps the paddle far from her tailbone, and also assures that the part of her bottom that touches the seat is the part that ends up bruised and sore. Six to ten swats, to her sit spot, will provide the tears required as part of the learning process, and will make sure that the learning continues for several days.

We are now able to see the potential that a proper school paddling has to make a high school girl’s bottom sore. There is no doubt, based on those pictures, that after a good school paddling that a young lady will not just forget about the experience. A proper school paddling will indeed lead to several days of her bottom being sore. She will not walk out of the office, dry off her tears, and then that is the end of it. Instead of the sting wearing off in an hour, the sting will now be replaced with a soreness that continues to grow. As each hour of the day passes, she will begin to feel a little more pain to her bottom. Sitting will begin to become more uncomfortable as she shifts around in the hard wooden school desks, trying to find a position that feels better. The real learning begins the next day, and this is also why a hard paddling with a proper paddle is important. The morning after a good and hard school paddling, the moment that she wakes up, she is going to be reminded of her punishment. Her bottom will be the as sore as it is going to get the next morning, and instead of waking up, barely aware of the prior day’s event, the first thing she is going to think of is the paddling, her sore bottom, and what she did that earned her that prize. For that day, and probably a couple more after, she is going to be living her punishment every single minute of the day. When she sits down to go to the bathroom, she is going to remember what she did wrong. As she decides that maybe tight jeans are not the way to go that day, she will be thinking of her paddling. But the best part of her learning process will take place that day at school. The desks, which just the day before she struggled to find a way to get comfortable, are now a very real source of pain for her. It is not just uncomfortable for her to sit; it hurts in every sense of the word. The punishment she was given, even though it was the day before, is nowhere close to being over. With every beat of her heart, there is a painful throbbing to her little bottom, and she is reminded that it is best to be well behaved at school.

While the pain is ongoing, it is not the only part of the punishment that continues after the paddling. If there was any sort of public aspect to her paddling, such as the principal calling her into the office and announcing it was time for her paddling, then there is a very good chance that the word spread around school. Students love to gossip and when it comes to some cute 18 year old high school senior getting her pretty bottom paddled, you can count on that news traveling fast. Not only is she sitting in class with a sore bottom, but the other students in the class know that her butt is indeed bruised and sore. When she winces in pain, each time she sits, someone will be there to giggle a little at her. Random spanking comments will take place as she walks down the hall and her face will turn as red as her bottom was the day before. When it is time for PE, cheerleading, or whatever sports tem she plays on, there are going to be a few awkward days in the locker room. During her last semester as a senior, she was perpetually late to a class in which everyone knew the teacher was a bit of a pushover, and rarely did she ever send anyone to the office. Amy came into this class late on a regular basis, but never more than a minute or two. She knew she had gone over the three tardy mark, but she did not think the teacher cared, much less even noticed or kept track. She realized one day, that the teacher did indeed keep track, when as she walked in late, before she was able to sit down the teacher called her over to her desk. The teacher pulled out a disciplinary referral and filled in all of the required boxes and lines. In the section for “reason for referral” she wrote “6 tardies, one semester”, and then underlined “6 tardies” twice with a red sharpie.
Amy’s walk to the office was a slow one as she was quite nervous. When she had sat in his office, during the previous semester, she had been quite nervous. While she had never been paddled at school before, she had been spanked by her mom when she was a little girl. She was six or seven the last time she had been spanked at home, but she still remembered how much she hated it. Her mom only ever gave her 5-6 smacks with a wooden spoon over her panties, but she always cried. When she has previously sat before him, all she could see was the wooden paddle the hung on the wall next to his desk. He told her that she would receive three now, then be sent back out to the main office, and then he would call her back in, two different times. He apologized that she would have to miss the rest of this class, and the one following it, but he did not see any other way to resolve it. He promised that they would be done in time for her to make it to lunch. Her brain was overloaded as she processed this information and she just wanted to cry. She was not sure how she would handle a single paddle swat, much less nine over the next ninety minutes. He pointed to another chair in his office against the back wall, and told her to move over to that chair and to bend over and place her hands on the seat.

She had somehow expected more of a process or a delay, but it was as simple as that. He had decided that she was going to be paddled, and she had no say in it. She was not offered an option, her parents were not contacted, and even at the age of 18, she had no say in the matter. For a minute or so, she was living in her own little painful world, just wanting the pain to go away. It took her a minute or so, to fully realize her surroundings. When she finally looked around the room, she noticed how many eyes were on her. She had not considered that every student and staff member in the office had just heard every swat being applied to her bottom. The student aids who worked in the office were staring at her, as was just about everyone else present. She had sat there in that chair, crying and rubbing her bottom like a little girl, and had not even noticed that she had an audience. Now that was all she was noticing and she was very embarrassed. She dried her eyes more and tried to suck it up, but her butt just hurt so badly.
She began to control her breathing as the initial sting from the paddling settled a little. The burning sensation was slowly being replaced with a throbbing of the muscles in her bottom. She was surprised as that pain did not seem to go away, but continued to build. There had been a slight numbness that was leaving her body and it the pain was getting worse. She sat at that chair, still aware of the occasion person looking at her and she was quite embarrassed. Here she was, an 18 year old girl, old enough to vote, old enough to join the military, and here she sat in the school office with a sore bottom, waiting to be spanked again. After 30 minutes, his door opened again and she was called into his office.

Just as before, she stayed in position while he filled out a new corporal punishment form. Just the thought of that paddle hitting her already sore bottom, caused her eyes to begin to fill with tears.

After the form was complete, the process started all over again. He grabbed the paddle and stepped up behind her and she felt it touch her bottom. She gritted her teeth just in time to feel the 1st swat. This swat made the previous three seem playful. Her butt was already so sore and throbbing, that she instantly screamed out in pain and began to cry very hard. The next swat landed in the same spot as the previous one and she thought she might faint from the pain. In just an instance, the next swat landed, and it was all over. She was left bent over, hands on the wall as he walked back to his desk and sat down. He added the date and the time of the paddling to the piece of paper, and asked her to once again join him. She could not stop crying at this point and wandered to his desk in a daze. He had her sign this new form, gave her a single tissue, and told her to go back out to the chairs, and that they would finish up soon.
Just as before, she was still crying hard as she left his office, and every eye in the room was on her. She sat down gingerly on the chair, buried her face in her hands, and cried for several minutes. She could not believe this was happening to her and she could not believe how much her bottom hurt. She knew there was no way she could go through this a third time, her butt has already had way too much. She was far too embarrassed, to be sitting there like a crying little girl to even look up. She knew everyone was looking, she wanted to be strong like it was no big deal, but that was not possible at the moment. It took her a good ten minutes to get herself together. While she was now slightly composed, her bottom was not doing any better. The slight numbness was leaving her body and with every beat of her heart her butt pulsated. Even with the padded seat of the chair was in, she was starting to shift around trying to find a position that did not hurt as much. The problem was, he kept smacking the same spot on her bottom, and that was the part that touched the chair. No matter how much she wiggled and squirmed, she just could not get comfortable.
Once again, 30 minutes passed, and she knew that she was moments from the final set of licks. She reached back and rubbed her bottom a little and it was so very sore to the touch. She wondered how she would get through the next three, and found herself looking at the door out of the main office, thinking about an escape. Just as she was beginning to convince herself to run, his door opened and she was called back in. She walked slowly to his office, like she was approaching a firing squad. She was told to sit down, one last time, and she did so hesitantly. He saw the discomfort as she attempted to sit and he smiled. He told her that this was exactly what they wanted. He explained that the difficulty she was experiencing when sitting was demonstrated that she was learning. He told her it might seem a little rough at the moment, but the paddlings she received today would indeed assure that she always gets to class on time. He apologized to her for not paddling her the first time she was in his office, as he knows if he had, they would not be having this conversation at the moment.

He told her to stand up, move back towards the wall, and to bend over and grab her ankles. She did not like the sound of this at all, but she did as she was told. He told her to widen her stance and to straighten her legs, which she did. He started on a new form while she waited with her bottom in the air. He eventually stood up, walked towards her, and then his phone rang. He set the paddle on the desk, and took the phone call. She stayed in that position, grabbing her ankles, with her throbbing butt in the air for close to four minutes. She listened as he discussed some administrative detail regarding paper and supplies for the computer lab. She wanted to scream at him, and tell him to get it over with, even though she never wanted to feel that paddle ever again in her life. The phone call eventually ended and he was right back to business.

Even after six previous swats, this was not getting easier for her, it was getting harder. The pain jolted her so much; she jumped up a little and started to grab her bottom. Her knees buckled and she was already crying like a 3 year old in the middle of a temper tantrum. He told her to grab her ankles again and the next swat came. The sound echoed through the main office and the only thing louder was her reaction. The final swat was applied to her bottom and it was finally over. He sat, filled in the rest of the paperwork, and then called her over. He asked her to take a seat, but she declined. He told her it was not optional and to “sit her butt down”. She struggled with the pain as her bottom touched the seat. He had her once again sign the form and then asked her if they would be having any tardy issues even again. While still wiping away the tears she promised that he would never see her in this office again in her lifetime.

It started with a very public argument in the hallway, with dozens of students watching, which eventually led to both girls pushing each other. The whole incident was witnessed by a teacher and they were both taken to the principal’s office. The school code of conduct is very clear in stating that “any aggressive action towards another student” is forbidden and will also be treated in the same manner as if they had actually been in a fight. School policy calls for a three day in school suspension, or six swats with a paddle for this offense. The principal was especially disappointed with Kiki, as she is a cheerleader, and therefore a representative of the school.

When Kiki was given her punishment options, she immediately chose the in school suspension. Her last spanking had been at the hands of her dad, when she was 11, and she still remembered it to this day. Her dad had worn her tiny little butt out with his belt and she knew that she wanted nothing to do with getting spanked ever again. Just as every other student in the school, she knew that a spanking at school involved bending over and getting your butt whacked with a large wooden board. She did not care what the other option was; she would take anything but a paddling.

She had no idea that it would kill all her events of the day, which led her to start thinking about the paddling. She had only even known a couple of girls who had been paddled, but she did not think they were exaggerating when they spoke of how intensely it hurt. She thought about that last spanking from her dad and the terrible pain of the belt. He had made her bend over her bed and spanked her bottom hard enough, that he had to hold her in place to complete the punishment. She can still picture the welts on her butt and how sore her bottom was even the next day. But today was Friday; this was always the day she looked forward to. The pep rally and the game were everything to her and there was no way that she could miss it.

It was also not lost on her that all she was wearing was her short little cheer skirt and her little red “spankies” underneath. The irony also was not lost on her that the only thing covering her butt were called “spankies”.

About an hour before lunch the principal finally came and sat down next to her in the ISS room. He asked her if she really did indeed want to be paddled instead of the ISS. She told him that she would do whatever was required to be able to go to the game. He explained that there was no “time served” and that she would still get the full six swats. She quickly replied, “Whatever I have to do to go to the game”. He had her stand up and took a look at her skirt. He decided that this was not an appropriate outfit for her to be paddled in and asked her if she had a change of clothes with her. She said that she did, so he told her to go to the locker room and to change into some jeans for her paddling. With her heart racing, she headed to the gym to change. The whole time in her head, all she could hear were the words, “her paddling”. She thought of the wooden paddle, she thought of her dad’s belt, and she thought about her poor bottom.

She went into the locker room and pulled out her cheer bag and grabbed her jeans. Sitting next to her jeans was a pair of panties. They were not the little skimpy ones she often wore and they had the same coverage as her spankies. She made the decision to remove her spankies, and to put the panties on underneath them. She figured the more layers the better for her little butt. With double layers on, she squeezed her little butt into her tight fitting jeans. She looked in the mirror and did not think they were all that noticeable, and then slowly returned to the ISS room. When she got there, he was waiting by the table where she had been. Her heart sank as she saw that he had brought the paddle, that she was dreading so much, with him. She had heard about it before, but had never seen it, and it was far bigger than she could have ever imagined. She was very petite and that paddle looked like it would destroy her whole bottom with a single swat.

He wasted no time and moved her chair out of the way and told her to bend over. She placed her hands and elbows on the table, widened her stance a little, a presented her tiny little bottom to be spanked. A minute later, his female assistant came into the ISS room and asked her what was going on under her pants. She repeated her story, and was then told to unzip her pants and show her. With shaking hands, as she knew she was busted, she unsnapped her tight jeans and pulled open the front to show her red spankies. The assistant peeled back a layer of the spankies revealing the white panties below. She was told to pull her pants back up and was then escorted back to the locker room. With the assistant present, she was made to remove the extra layer, and was then walked back to the ISS room. The assistant told her to stay there and that the principal would be right back with her. She was left with contemplating how much more the last four were going to hurt without the extra padding. Her bottom was already throbbing and she knew her butt was going to be sore for quite some time.

He told her to bend back over and explained that he had been paddling bottoms long enough to know what it is supposed to sound like. He smiled as he told her that she was not the first to try this, nor would she be the last. He told her that they would now continue with her paddling, but six real swats were what she had earned, so the first two would not count. She cringed as she realized they were starting over and once again felt the large wooden paddle touch her bottom briefly. She watched the reflection of the paddle once again being raised into the air, and then her world was nothing but pain. She quickly realized how much the extra panties had helped, as now her bottom was really on fire. She squealed a little as the 1st swat hit and then prepared for the next one. By the time all six swats had been delivered she could barely feel her butt. It seemed that the whole thing had gone numb, but the tears continued to flow nevertheless.

She was told that she could go back and change into her full uniform and could resume her normal school day. With that evil paddle still in his hand, he exited the room. She spent a little while rubbing her poor bottom and was already regretting her decision. She was not sure how she would resume a normal school day with her butt feeling that way. She certainly did not know how she would present a smile at the pep rally as she attempted their routines and stunts. She considered the drill in which hands were on her bottom supporting her as she was tossed into the air, and then caught. There are still many states in the US in which a paddling may be administered by something other than a school administrator. Within these high schools, coaches and teachers that chose to handle the corporal punishment themselves are allowed to. They still have to follow the same school guidelines as the administrators, but they are free to paddle students when they feel it is required. Within every school in which the teachers are allowed to paddle, there are those one or two teachers that have a reputation as the hardest hitting paddlers in the school.
The real results of a severe school paddling.
This will typically be the classroom in the school in which the students are the best behaved and create the least amount of distractions during class. Tardies are typically also much lower in a class with a hard paddling teacher. It is not that this teacher is meaner than the rest of the teachers, it just means that this is a teacher that decided a long time ago, that they are going to utilize every free moment in class to teach, and anything that distracts from the process, needs to be eliminated.
By being a teacher that is known for hard paddling, he ends up paddling far less than the other teachers as his reputation is well known throughout the student body. Even incoming freshman have heard the stories of how he can really light a bottom on fire, even if they have not been present on occasion when it takes place. He is strict and uncompromising in all aspects of the discipline he administers. It does not matter to him if it is a male or female student, a freshman or a senior, or for a small offense or a large offense. If there is a situation that needs to be dealt with via a paddling, he simply gets the job done to the very best of his ability.

When the situation does present itself, he is all business, and whoever is on the receiving end, ends up in a world of hurt. When he finds a good stopping place, he opens the cabinet to pull out his legendary paddle. He constructed it himself, and it is considerably longer than the standard school paddle. He reminds the class to stay busy and the closes the door behind him as he walks out into the hall, to join the poor young lady who is still in the middle of the hall, with her hands on her ankles. It does not matter to him that she has never been in trouble in his class before, nor does it matter to him that she is 110 lbs. He pays no regard to the fact that she is a straight A student or that he can see her arms and legs trembling as she waits to feel the paddle on her bottom.

He knows that by paddling her with a severity that only he is fully capable of, that he is avoiding a dozen paddlings in the future. He knows that students will talk and that the word will spread about the severe paddling she received for even such a small infractions. It is because of the paddling he is about to administer, that he will only have to give a few more that semester. He knows of teachers that paddle just about every day, and he sees that as ineffective discipline if the results or so ineffective that it happens many times a week. He is also very aware that the louder the reaction, the better it is heard by other students, and the better his reputation becomes.

I write often about the long term effectiveness of a school paddling. By effectiveness, we are talking about how bruised and sore a high school girl’s bottom ends up being. While it is easy to get caught up in the fantasy of an 18 year old girl being paddled at school, how sore does she really end up being, and how much a deterrent does that really provide?

In all honesty, schools have fairly strict regulations as to how a girl can be paddled. The paddle size is generally specified on the district regulations, and while they are often big, they are not giant. How many swats that can be applied are also specified, with the range typically being from one to six, with some school going as high as ten. I think most administrators and principals tend to swing pretty close to full force, especially when we are talking about high school age students. While they swing very hard, very rarely is a two handed swing used, or some sort of step into the swing.

He may decide that it will be best for the situation to simply have her bend over the desk, as it is a position that allows much stability and will allow him to swat her little butt even harder. Or he may decide that she needs to be more of an active participant in her paddling and require her to present her bottom in a manner in which she really has to work to stay in position, such as grabbing her ankles. He may choose a position based on what allows for a harder paddling, what makes her more of a participant or possibly even one that presents her bottom in a manner in which the paddle swats will hurt more. Regardless of what he decided, it is fully his decision. For the next several minutes, HE is in charge of everything that happens to her bottom and she is merely a participant. It is presented in such a way, that it is easiest for him to paddle her hard, without fear of hitting any other body part. It also pulls all of the skin on her bottom as tight as possible, so the padding in her bottom is reduced, pulling all of the muscles to the surface. He knows that the real learning comes as a result of these muscles feeling the full impact of the paddling, assuring maximum bruising and long term soreness. The overall goal is for her bottom to continue to receive this undesired attention for many days to come. She needs to think about what she did, every time she pulls on tight pants for the next several days. As she is walking down the hall, her tight butt being admired by the boys, with each step she needs to feel the soreness. If he did his job to the best of his ability, her bottom will be getting a lot of attention each time she sits down at a school desk. But the attention to her ass will now be her own, as she struggles to find a way to sit down that does not provide so much pain. During every minute of class for the rest of the week, her bottom will have her full attention, attention she never wants her bottom to have ever again.
Clearly, I think that a school corporal punishment should be applied hard enough to make a real impression on a young lady, but I am fair in the fact that the punishment should fit the crime. If it is a 1st time offense, that is a small infraction within the school code of conduct, a few swift swats with a paddle should do the trick. Obviously, if that infraction is repeated, then more severe consequences are called for. If a few moderate swats with the paddle did not get the job done, then clearly the level of severity needs to be raised significantly.

But for those severe infractions, like bullying, fighting, and alcohol and drug related issues, from the very beginning, the paddling needs to be administered at a level in which very real learning takes place through the seat of her pants. The goal is to not only create as much pain as possible at the time, but to leave her bottom sore well after the paddling. But how hard is too hard and how long should her bottom really be left sore?
Two days later, the corporal punishment she received is still having the desired effect.
I think if the paddling is administered in a safe manner, there is no such thing as too hard when dealing with severe offenses. Many schools have limitations on the number of swats that can be applied, so each one really needs to count. In addition, I think in order for there to really be long term benefits, each paddle swat needs to be applied in the exact same spot. There is no reason to make all of her bottom a little sore, if it possible to make part of her bottom extremely sore. The focus should always be on the lowest part of her bottom, on the exact spot that touches the seat when she sits down. Both at home, but especially in the school environment, a young lady spend the majority of her day sitting. In school, she will spend close to eight hours a day at a desk, which is rarely padded in a public school environment. This gives the administrator the added benefit of her punishment continuing for at least eight hours a day. This is quite the bonus when trying to teach a young lady a lesson, especially since most school paddlings are over with in less than a minute. A one minute punishment is hardly a deterrent, regardless of the amount of sting she experiences during it. But an eight hour punishment, for three consecutive days, starts to really address the problem.
Five days later the corporal punishment she received at school is still very visible on her bottom, and the soreness remains.
But how long should her bottom remain sore in all fairness? I think leaving her bottom sore for as long as possible should always be the goal. If her bottom being sore for a day helps to teach her a lesson, then more days are even better. The more time she has to struggle to sit down, the more time she is focused on what she did wrong. Her infraction does not quickly become a distant memory, if she is still wiggling in her seat, trying to find a way to sit that doesn’t hurt…three days later. If her bottom is paddled long enough and hard enough that she is still struggling to sit a week later, all the better. If she has to try and cover up in the locker room, so none of the other girls see her bruised butt, then that is yet another added bonus. Teen girls will go far out of their way to avoid being embarrassed in front of their peer group, and very few girls want to admit that they were spanked at school. A bruised and sore bottom might seem excessive to some, but when it comes to educating a young lady through the use of corporal punishment, a bruised bottom has its place.
It seems that today is the day that test scores are reviewed. Each student is called up and receives between 1 and 9 swats with a ruler. It is not the most effective punishment, and you can tell by the smile on the teacher’s face, that this is just a normal day in her classroom.
Miss Abigail, a well behaved student who never gets into trouble, decided to push the boundaries on the last day of school by breaking the school policy and wearing shorts. She not only decided to wear shorts, but she wore the tiniest shorts that she owned. So, how often does a teenage girl actually get paddled at school? Take a look at these recent stats from Gentry High School, in Mississippi:
At this senior high school (grades 10 through 12), corporal punishment is listed as appropriate only for “minor rule infractions” such as dress code violation, cutting class, missing detention, insubordination and disrespect), inadequate supplies for class, hall pass violation, littering, profanity, and sleeping in class.
Paddlings took place on about 395 occasions last year at Gentry High, for a total enrollment of some 600, according to government figures. 180 of these, or 45%, related to female students.
Bending over in the hallway, waiting for her school paddling, is much more common than you think.
So when taking a look at the recent statistics on school corporal punishment in the US, as reported by the Department of Education in recent years, they show that 223,190 students were paddled at school during a single school year. I would have to guess that this number is very conservative, as in the more rural areas, especially in the ones in which the teachers and coaches are also allowed to paddle students, that 75% of the paddlings are undocumented. This could easily bring the numbers to well over 500,000 students paddled, but I will use a conservative number and go with 350,000 students.
So if we want to question how often a school paddling really takes place, we need to crunch the numbers. The average school, not including weekend and holidays, has 180 days in its school year. The average school day, as far as time that the students are in class, is 6.7 hours a day. If you do the math, that gives us an average of 1944 school paddlings a day in the US. If looked at more closely, this is around 290 school paddling every hour, or about one every 12 seconds. This means that in the time it took you to read to this point right here, at least two school paddlings were administered to the bottom of a student.
So while there are many posts on the internet about school paddling that are clearly someone’s fantasy, you must remember that a school paddling, actually taking place in the US schools every 12 seconds, is very much the reality. At this very moment, as you read these very words, somewhere in America there is a teen girl, standing up from her chair in the principal’s office, being told to bend over and grab her ankles. She has no say in the matter, not only is this allowed at this school, but her parents signed a form authorizing it. This principal is not worried about lawsuits, or angry parents, as this community embraces corporal punishment. His only concern is paddling her bottom hard enough to make sure that she never commits the offense again. This is a school in which corporal punishment is the primary form of discipline and it is used not only liberally, but severely. This punishment will be documented and she will be part of the statistics.

But in reality, when teachers are allowed to paddle students, this does not take place in such an official manner. A teacher, finally fed up with a student’s disruptions in class, grabs her paddle from her filing cabinet and invites the student out into the hall. There is no long discussion, there is no formal paperwork, and there is simply a teacher that has decided to teach a student that once and for all, she needs to stop being such a nuisance in class. The offending girl is told to bend over, stretch her arms out, and place her hands on the wall. This teacher’s only concern is making sure that this student and all the others who are about to hear it, know to get their acts together. The very best way for her to accomplish this is to paddle this young lady’s bottom as hard as she can. She elects to swing her paddle with both hands, channeling the energy she learned from playing softball in college. Her goal is tears and a bruised butt and does not stop until she has accomplished both.

In the time it has taken you to read this far and look at the animations, there have been as many as 10 school paddlings administered. And as you read this paragraph, there is no doubt, that in some small school, in a rural area of a Southern state, there are a group of girls standing and waiting their turn for a paddling. Let’s face it; girls often get in trouble together, as it is the group mentality that often gives birth to poor decisions. Maybe this school requires that students are paddled out of the view of other students, so one at a time, they are taken to a private spot like the school stairwell. So one at a time, they are each marched up the stairs, told to grab their ankles, and then have their teen bottoms paddled long and hard. Each of them have to endure an intense and severe session with the heavy paddle, and one by one they learn their lesson.

As the end of the hour approaches, bells are ringing in classrooms across the country. Most students will get up from their desk, go to their locker, and then head to their next class. But as this blog post is being typed, somewhere, in one of the 1000’s of school that still paddle, there is a young lady who has been asked to stay behind in class. She may have done something as bad as cheating, or something as innocent as chewing gum in class. In today’s day and age, there is a very good chance that she was caught texting on her phone in class. Regardless of the reason, at this very moment, she is bending over the teacher’s desk, in an empty classroom, and presents her bottom, in those way to tight jeans that she just loves to wear. She is also, at this very moment in time, regretting the little G-string panties that she chose to wear under those jeans. That thin layer of tight denim is not going to do much to protect her bottom from the man who is not only her teacher, but is a coach, one that even the boys fear a paddling from. There are those few students who knew exactly what was about to happen and have gathered outside the classroom door, listening in and trying to sneak a peek through the tiny glass on the door. As the 1st crack echoes beyond the classroom and into the halls, more students begin to gather to see who is getting licks. A few feel sorry for her as they hear the crying begin from the way too severe licks, but mostly it is giggling and fun for those that are not on the receiving end. It is possible, that right now, as you read these words, she is opening the door, tears in her eyes, and embarrassed as she can be as she walks past the students waiting to get into that classroom.

But with close to 2000 paddling being administered today, the chances are that this evening, in many bedrooms, across many states, there will be high schools girls looking at their bare bottoms in the mirror and all they will see is black and blue. Because there will be that one girl who was being paddled for a second offense of the same infraction and the administrator decided to give her the maximum number of swats and to do so as hard as he could. Or maybe she was a 1st time offender, but she was caught bullying and a very real example needed to be made of her. She might be a young lady who was unfortunate enough to be sent to that teacher or coach, who is known as a heavy hitter and prides himself on the severity of the paddlings he administers. That coach that does not care if it is a 90 lb., 16 year old girl, or a 220 football linebacker that he is paddling. He swings for the fences with every bottom that is presented to him and he sends them all away in tears. Think this is the stuff of fantasies? What about this girl whose name and cute little face and bottom have been all over the news in recent month. She was paddled hard, by a male administrator, and in her own words explains that her little teen bottom still has marks days later.

Out of those 1944 that went home today after having been paddled, I would guess at the very least, 10% are also going to get it at home. It might sometimes seem like fantasy, but statistics do not lie. If you spent an average of 4 minutes to read this post and watch the animations, then the reality of it all is that more than 19 different paddlings occurred during the same time period. In the time you took to read about school paddlings, more than 100 paddle swats occurred leaving young ladies throughout the country with bruised bottoms and tears in their eyes.
Life teaches us that we have to follow the rules or there may be consequences. In the high school environment, the consequences many indeed be a bruised bottom for the offender. But she is not the only one that has to follow the rules, as the administrator tasked with bruising her teen bottom has rules to follow as well. He generally has a limited number of swats that he can apply to her tight little bottom. There often has to be a same sex witness present as he paddles her bottom. If she does not follow the rules, she gets her butt paddled, but if he does not follow the rules, he will get fired, sued, or both.
So as required, as she is informed that she will be receiving a 6 swat paddling, he steps out of the office and calls in a female secretary from the front office. This adds to the overall embarrassment for her, as it is hard enough to get her butt spanked at school, but now someone else comes in to watch it all take place. She is instructed to bend over the front of the desk, with her hands and elbows touching the desk, and to spread her legs shoulder width apart. She is warned that she needs to stay in position for the duration of the paddling for her own safety. The witness watches the color drain from her face as he pulls out a heavy wooden paddle with holes. He walks behind her and she sees the witness staring right into her eyes, watching every movement and upcoming emotion. She flinches as she feels the paddle touch her bottom, there is a momentary pause and then her learning begins.
